Supervised Family Contacts

Safehands are pleased to announce that we now have our own fully equipped family contact centre on the Wirral.

The centre is suitable for all ages and is open for contacts from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10pm to 6pm Saturday and Sunday. There are comfortable, family friendly areas, a yard and vegetable growing area, a selection of toys and games and other activities suitable for all age ranges. There is also use of the Kitchen and refreshments are available. If you would like to make use of this space please contact us for details.

Safehands offer a number of services in regard to supervised contacts as listed below. However we are adaptable and can carry out bespoke supervised contacts

• Fully equipped contact centre suitable for families of varying needs open 7 days a week
• Contacts in community settings
• Contacts in other specified venues
• Transport available if required
• Staff continuity
• Qualified, competent staff members who have full CRB disclosures
• Written reports to specific criteria as detailed by Social Worker

Run For Life
The Safehands staff team all took part in the Run For Life event that took place at Aintree Race Course this year raising money for the Cancer Charity. There were a few aching bodies but a great day was had by all.

Congratulations Warrington
For the 3rd year running we have sponsored the John Strongman Fair Play trophy at the North West Leaving Care Young Person 7 aside tournament which took place in Warrington this year.
We also sponsored the Knowsley leaving care teams and provided them with football kits.
A great day was had by all and we look forward to next year's tournament which will also be in Warrington as the Warrington team won the Tournament for the third time.
